For our Dad: Cancer research has always been, and will continue to be an incredibly important charity. We all know this, and have raised funds both individually and collectively over the years for Cancer Research UK. But never does a charity become more important than when you and your loved ones are personally affected by it’s cause. On 31st December 2020, right at the end of what was probably a truly awful year for most, we discovered that our Dad had cancer. Nothing prepares you for hearing that news. Dad has a long journey ahead of him, but is fighting every day, never complaining and his sense of humour (mainly ‘dad jokes’) never failing. So we are taking on this challenge in honour of his strength and courage, and the strength and courage of all those who are fighting cancer - 10,000 steps a day, every day throughout March. It won’t be easy, but with the knowledge we are raising funds to help those affected by cancer, and our Dad as daily inspiration, we know we can do it! Anything you can spare will go a long way to keep us motivated. Team Mush.
