Story
This story is written by the daughters of Jasbir Singh we are all fundraising in his honour. He was a son, husband, father, brother, uncle and to many, a loyal friend. As a devote Sikh, Jasbir never touched a drop of alcohol and led a very conscious vegetarian lifestyle. Sadly he was diagnosed with the big 'C', what the doctors referred to as 'something nasty'. So often you hear about it but never think it's going to catch a loved one. Jasbir was diagnosed with 2 forms of liver cancer, originating from the liver cells and the bile duct. This is a rare type affecting only 1/100 people. With his family by his side, he passed away in May 2017. In Jasbirs honour a team of 8 will be taking part in Pretty Muddy this September. We would greatly appreciate you helping us to raise some money for Race for life Cancer Research we can help fight the 'nasty C'! We're doing this run in memory of this loving, bubbly, gentle, kind, proud, humorous and giving man who was taken too soon and aggressively and we will do it for your fathers, mothers, grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunts and friends too. Please dig deep and help to sponsor us...Help us fight this, it's time it stopped taking our loved ones!
