Story
Our dear friend Laurence, actor and all round wonderful person, died far too prematurely from pancreatic cancer. Determined to make a difference and do something positive we've chosen to make the walk up Snowdon- Laurence loved a trip he took to Snowdonia with pals from his time training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and spoke about the landscape and the time there with a lot of fondness. We're a mixed group of family and friends, of all ages and exercise capabilities and from all parts of Laurences' life and we plan to start our ascent at dawn on July 21st and in the process raise as much money as we can for Cancer Research. All of us are touched by cancer in some way and none of us will escape it. It feels important to support the great progress thats being made in developing screening and potential cures so that future generations don't have to deal with as much loss and sadness as current generations do. Laurence was a generous and enthusiastic lover of life...please support our walk in his memory.
