Story
After yet another successful school reunion in November 2019 it was wonderful to see so many lovely faces reminding us of great times we had at Kevics. During the evening we also remembered those who weren’t so lucky in reaching their 50th year. We also are aware of friends and family who are fighting this awful disease now. Our wonderful classmate, Barbara who was at our celebration, with an amazing smile and never changing look has been struck down with this disease and is bravely fighting it today. Lockdown stopped our last attempt at getting together to support her and others fighting this disease but we have not forgotten and this event allows us to try and do our little bit to try and fight this horrid disease. So, Tam, Katie and Julie are completing a 5k ( Thank god we are not fitness fanatics so we may walk it ,as well as a little canter) for Barbara and other friends/fam ily of ours. (Friends fighting this abroad are also in our thoughts). If you can support us in anyway please do so, either by donations or taking part yourselves. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives.
