Hi! We're Team Hazard, the dynamic duo (Karin Hildyard and Aphrodite Tomou) dedicated to making a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer. Whilst you may usually find us in the pub on a Saturday night, on Saturday 28th October we are participating in the Shine Night Walk Cambridge 2023 in aid of breast cancer awareness. We will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK - a charity dedicated to building a better future for those affected by cancer. Breast cancer is a devastating disease that affects countless lives, and we believe in the power of collective action to create meaningful change. We are walking through the night to raise both awareness and essential funds for research, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer. Our team is deeply committed to this cause because we have all been touched by the experiences of friends, family members, and loved ones who have battled this disease. We know the importance of early detection, improved treatments, and ultimately, finding a cure. By participating in the Shine Night Walk, we aim to contribute to the ongoing efforts of Cancer Research UK and support their tireless work in making breast cancer a thing of the past. Every step we take is a step closer to a world free from the fear of breast cancer.
