Story
On February 18th 2021 our beautiful Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. A week later after further scans we got the devastating news that it had already spread to her bones and it was now stage 4. It’s hard to find the words to describe how incredibly amazing my Mum is, and continues to be throughout this nightmare. The treatment that she is receiving is tough, yet she soldiers on with a smile and somehow always finds the positive in any situation. She is a real inspiration to all of us and reminds us to be strong, kind and show love always! ❤️ For those of you that know Mum, you will know how strong willed she is. Rarely does she complain about the treatment or side effects and she is navigating this time with extreme courage and grace. She is our warrior. We had originally planned on walking the full marathon… however Jenny is now with baby and so the 5 of us are walking the 10K.. As with everything.. we are in it together!🌹 Unlike many other cancers, that have hope of being beaten, Mum faces life long treatment, as hers cannot be cured. We are relying on the ever-growing research to ensure Mum has as many treatment options for as long as possible. We are so grateful for any donations you are able to make!
