Story
Georgia was diagnosed with Stage IV high risk neuroblastoma in 2011, just a few weeks after Dad died of oesophageal cancer. Georgia went through lots of treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and immunotherapy but despite being the most amazingly brave girl, she passed away on the 16th of December 2015, aged 9, holding my hand as I told her how much we loved her 💖 We continue to take part in Race for Life because without research there are no new developments and without new developments people are still losing the people they love. Please join us, everyone is welcome, no athleticism required! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
