Team Dean is taking on Race For Life this summer in celebration of our littlest member. For anyone who doesn’t know, Elsie was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer at the end of 2019, affecting just 45 children in the UK each year and turning our entire world upside down. After being blue lighted to Great Ormond Street she then spent more than 90 nights in hospital, underwent 165 hours of chemotherapy and four operations including an 8 hour procedure to remove her tumour. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have and now we want to celebrate her strength and resilience by taking part in Race For Life.
