Story
In 2007, our Dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer and after a long and hard 2-year fight, he lost his battle on the 19th of November 2009 -leaving behind our Mum, his 11 and 9-year old daughters as well as loving family and friends. This November marks the 10th anniversary of Dad losing his battle with bowel cancer. Since then we have lost other family members and friends to cancer; including Rosemary and Edward Williams, Clare Robinson and most recently Mummum (our maternal Grandmother). To mark the 10th year anniversary of Dad's death, Jo and I will be running the 10k and Mum the 5K Race for Life to support this amazing charity and all that they do. As at least 1 in 2 people can be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, it would be lovely to one day beat cancer!! So any donation to this cause would be highly appreciated, Sarah X
