We are taking part in the Race for Life this year. Six years after we lost our beautiful Carolyn and this is why we set up Team Caro to enter the Race for Life again this year to raise essential funds and remember. Those who knew Carolyn even a little will know of her humour and strength and that we did the Race for Life with her six years ago. Sadly she won't be walking, jogging and chatting with us this year, but she will be with us just the same, egging us on! I lost my Dad to cancer, my dear friend Annette, who had fought for years, had an amazing life and brought up a fantastic son (who now has a son of his own!) We also lost Barbara, Mum of two of my dearest friends and one of the most amazing people I have ever met, I will always miss her. I am also doing this for a new friend Suzanne, who has fought and won and is an inspiration. And of course for Carolyn, who I miss everyday.
