Hi guys! As many of you will know, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer last November. After two operations, I’m fighting fit! ? I may require further treatment within the next few months, but the prognosis for me is excellent! The care I’ve been given by all medical professionals involved has been amazing and I feel that I want to give something back. That’s why I’m running the Glasgow 5K. All monies will be split equally between Cancer Research UK, The Beatson Glasgow and The Maggie’s Centre Glasgow. If you’d like to donate, I’d be so grateful if you’d do so. Equally, if you’d like to join me to run/walk (we already have runners and walkers signed up!) please let me know. We’ll meet together on the day. The Butterfly is the symbol of Thyroid Cancer and I’ll provide everyone on Team Butterfly with butterfly wings on the day!
