This is the 4th year Team Becky Maskill have taken part in Hull's Race for Life and this year we are taking on more of a challenge doing Pretty Muddy 5k!!! I was diagnosed with bowel cancer a week before my 34th birthday. I had two operations then started 6 months chemo but unfortunately the cancer then spread in my abdomen and to my ovaries. My local hospital could do no more for me so I was referred to a specialist Cancer hospital, The Christie in Manchester. They performed extensive surgery and I'm now 2 years cancer free!
