My dad was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour in July last year, it was a shock to us all and something that as a family we have now all came to terms with. Even though he was diagnosed with this he has still went to work every day and just got on with it. I have always said I’ll get to the gym and it never happens but if he can get up everyday and get on with it then really I have no excuse, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
