Story
In 2015 Andrea Rutledge gathered a small team to conquer the Pretty Muddy 5km course at Trentham Gardens. We came, we saw, we climbed THAT hill. We got muddy and giggled and swore we'd find a flatter course next year. Having watched back-to-back Musketeer episodes during her cancer treatments, in 2016, Andrea recruited The Pink Mudketeers . Adorned in pink moustaches, swishing our capes and trying not to drop our swords, we tackled the flatter course of Tatton Park, bouyed by a personal "Good Luck" message from Captain Treville himself. (collective swoon). Team Andrea was one of the top fundraising pages that year and the image of Andrea celebrating astride the cargo net is one that will stay with us forever. In 2017 we lost Andrea. In 2018 the Pink Mudketeers mustered an enormous brigade, stormed the course at Tatton and smashed our fundraising targets. In 2019 we tackle a new course - Hanley Forest. Smaller in numbers, but huge in spirit The Pink Mudketeers Ride Again!!!’ We invite you help us raise money for Cancer Research whilst we keep Andrea's spirit alive.
