Story
Alfie was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged 5 . He had a lengthy surgery , 6 weeks of radiotherapy and 18 months of chemo . He was signed off by the Royal Marsden last year after 11 years of follow up scans. This summer he turned 18, a milestone that many kids aren’t fortunate to make. We know we are very lucky ( despite being very unlucky !) In the last 12 years Team Alf has run most years and raised around £6,000 . We will run again next week at Tilgate Park to raise money for Cancer Research, and this time it’s the whole family ( excluding Ella!) and some of our regular squad !
