Just over 2 years ago I lost my beautiful mum/best friend/partner in crime. Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and took the news as well as could be. She said she would fight till the end. She did. Mum lost her battle with cancer just 7 weeks after diagnosis, with me by her side. Within weeks of loosing my mum, we heard the dreadful news that lovely beautiful Sarah had lost her battle with cancer. One of the most caring people I have ever met. This was all just 6 months after loosing my grandad, my hero. Grandad also had a short battle with lung cancer, passing away just 6 weeks after being diagnosed. Cancer has had a massive impact on our family and myself and Jackie are doing this to raise money in the hope that, one day, other families can avoid the devastating heartache that ours has been through.
