My work girls and I are taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5k race to raise money for cancer research. My 13 year old son and my friend's son are also taking part (which we are extremely proud of). We all work in the health care sector - most of us in end of life care - and see first hand how cancer destroys peoples lives. We know how vital this research is and hopefully our contribution can make a difference to someone's life. Please help us smash our target and have a good laugh at all us unfit, crazy ladies falling - I mean running in mud ;) Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
