For the Shepherds Purse team, supporting Cancer Research is not just about the fundraising, it is about standing beside colleagues, friends, and loved ones during some of life’s hardest moments. We have all experienced the heartbreak of losing someone special and this is what drives our powerful sense of purpose and a desire to help others facing similar battles. By taking on the Big Hike we are helping to fund vital research that might, one day, mean fewer families will have to experience the impact of cancer- wouldn’t that be fantastic! There is a long way to go. Lots of funds to be raised. Lots more research required, but we are absolutely delighted to be taking part in this challenge. Together we can make a difference! Our team are match fit and ready to hike. Each have their own reasons for taking on this challenge but at the forefront of it all is Shepherds Purse's Founder, The Big Cheese, Our Mum, Judy Bell MBE. This is us giving back on her behalf while remembering those close to us that are battling and those that have sadly lost the battle.
