Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in the Race for Life 5km in York this September to raise money and save lives. This is the first time we are running together although Dave will probably run on ahead! As you probably know Sue's Dad, Geoff, died of cancer in May 2020 and her brother Steve also died of cancer in 1987. Sue got breast cancer in 2003 but thankfully made a full recovery. Sue also volunteers at the CRUK shop on Coney St every Friday so we do what we can to raise money for this great cause. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Please help us by donating a little or a lot as we scamper round the Knavesmire on September 12th.
