A charity very close to our hearts so please help us to raise as much as we can, to try and beat this awful disease! Since doing Race for Life last year I’ve been determined to set myself a bigger challenge. I’ve been continuing to work on my own recovery from health issues and really stepped things up last September, giving myself a year before Shine. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster but nothing compared to what some go through and so the challenge is on. I’m now working on a plan to help get my body in a stronger place and hopefully reduce the risk of further major flare ups. When thinking about my goals and what I wanted to achieve, I knew instantly I wanted to take part in Shine and help to raise money for such a worthy cause. My lovely mum, Mandy, has also once again volunteered to walk by my side for this amazing charity and support me every step of the way with my recovery journey, despite battling her own injuries along the way.
