Hey & thanks for reading, This run/walk/crawl is in memory of two very special people & for many others who are suffering from this terrible disease. Sometimes when you're plodding along, life comes & throws you a massive curve ball and changes your life forever. This is what happened in 2007, when my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After many years of fighting, She eventually lost the battle to cancer in 2013. Then in 2014 my father -in- law was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and sadly lost his fight within a matter of months. Two beautiful, irreplaceable people taken too soon. Both in the beginning of new chapters in their lives. We can't change what's happened, but I hope we can make a difference no matter how small. Because cancer is still at large, and the more money we raise, the closer we get to kicking it's arse for good. Xxxx
