Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. We see the impact it has not only on those facing the diagnosis, but also on their families, friends, and wider community. It changes lives in ways that are hard to put into words. This year, our reason to take part feels even more personal. A valued member of our Boarding team has faced her own battle with cancer, showing incredible strength, courage, and resilience throughout. We are running, jogging and walking for her, to stand beside her, to support her, and to honour her journey.
