Story
Hi, myself and Wayne have decided to do the race for life as it is a cause very close to our hearts. Unfortunately we have lost several amazing members of our family throughout the years to this awful disease. We also know many who have gone through the fight and made it out the other side. This past year I lost my Nan to cancer and Wayne lost his aunt both of whom fought as much as they could but it was a fight they couldn’t win. It has been heartbreaking seeing the suffering and the pain, praying everyday for a miracle and it not being enough. So in honour of all the people we know that have fought and made it through and all those who sadly didn’t we will be completing this race together. Thank you for your support no matter how big or small it all helps.
