Story
Cancer ruins so many lives. It overtook OUR family but we cannot let it win. It steals loved ones and leaves only tears and emptiness behind. Too many are affected by this horrible disease. I am running on behalf of my mum, my nan, my auntie and a very special lady called Josephine. Apart from my mum, I've lost them all. My mums younger sister, Gail, died when I was a baby so I never knew my only aunt. My nan was a remarkable lady, kind and caring. Seeing her deteriorate was heartbreaking, so painful to watch.....I felt so hopeless unable to help. Josephine......I loved and admired her like a second mum. She was amazing ...always kind, gentle, selfless, patient and generous......in fact everything you'd want in a human being. She didn't deserve this. I have so many happy memories of her. And I wish I could have made more. Please help us win the battle against cancer! "I can't do everything but I can do something" Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
