Story
As you may or may not know, Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She fought her battle and beat the bastard! Since then, we have found out that Hollie and Katie have the mutated BRCA gene, meaning the risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer has significantly increased. They both therefore have to have risk reducing surgery in the near future. Being the caring sister she is, Leanne has supported Katie and Hollie in remaining positive! We need to spread awareness and to show the big 'C' who's boss. We have decided to have fun in the face of cancer and run the 5k Pretty Muddy Race for Life!! It may not be a marathon but trust us, no one wants to see our wobbly bits for 26.2 miles!!! We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and it's time it stopped. Our goal is to get everyone on our friends list, to donate just £1. That's all! And to cop a feel and check yourselves! (Men too!!) Thanks in advance - and 'F' you cancer!
