Story
As a family, we have a history of Cancer throughout the generations. When I was 36, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had a mastectomy and 10 years treatment to try and stop cancer growing again. I’m 2 years clear and hoping to make it to the 5 year ‘all clear’. The care I’ve received through it all is second to none and I honestly believe that 30 years ago, it wouldn’t have even been detected until it was too late. This is why I want to raise money for cancer research. 1 in 2 people will be have a run in with cancer at some point in their life and we need to make sure that it stops robbing people of their chance to live a long life 💕
