Story
Hi everyone, thank you for dropping by. Not sure what we've just let ourselves in for but here goes.. I have taken the plunge and entered my second marathon walk for an amazing cause. This year I have some motivated company as my other half Rik, my cousin Emma, her partner Mark and friend Becca have decided they would also like the challenege and raise money to such a good cause. We are all doing it for personal reasons as Cancer is so close to all our hearts. I personally do this walk in loving memory of my Grandad Terry who lost his fight with cancer in November 2008 aged just 73 after year long battle! ๐๐ Emma and Mark's reason to do this walk is in loving memory of Emmaโs god daughter, Scarlett. Scarlett was two and a half years old when she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. They would like to take on the marathon to raise money to go directly to children like Scarlett and their families. Scarlett was such a brave little girl who has motivated lots of people to fundraise for cancer since she passed away in 2016. A marathon will be a huge challenge for them both, but we know Scarlett will be willing them on. Shine bright little one! ๐๐ We would all like to raise as much as I can so I've set up this page for those of you that would like to sponsor us, no matter how big or small, every little bit helps. We have all been affected by cancer in some way so let's beat cancer together! Let the training begin ๐ค๐! Thanks for reading ๐ Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. Thereโs no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
