Story
We lost our funny, strong, beautiful Sheila to lung cancer in July 2016 after a four and a half year battle. She was mine and Bev's mum and nan to Renna and Laura and due to the amazing research that goes into finding ways to fight and one day, hopefully, eradicate this hideous disease, we got that extra time with her. For this reason, we are going to walk 5k to try and raise some money towards the research, it is a drop in the ocean but anyone who has had extra weeks, months or even years with someone they love, due to this research will know how important it is to keep rasing those pennies. So, we know money is tight and there are so many wonderful charities people are donating to but if you have a few pound to spare, please help us out by sponsoring us on this walk (here comes the heartstring pull ?) especially the 8 year old doing it in memory of her nanny.
