Hey, my name Shannon and I’m raising money for cancer this year for my dad. On the 25th May we found out the devastating news that my dad has prostrate cancer. It was horrible for my dad and all of us. However, my dad has been a survivor of cancer before and he can do it again. I’m racing for not just my dad but everyone who has prostrate cancer and all type of other cancers, battling, overcoming or lost the fundraising of your money will help cancer research search for new cures today to help people like my dad to overcome cancer! Me and my friend Kirsty will be racing on the 7th July for the 10K distance, please help us raise money and hopefully reach our goal! Edited: Tuesday 2nd July we found good news that my dad beat cancer, although he will have lots of checkups. We are all so happy he came through, and we knew of course since he’s come through and figured before. Thank you for all the donations so far, it’s meant a lot!!
