At SAS, the health and wellbeing services that we provide to school staff across the country is at the heart of everything we do. One of our many comprehensive services offered to school staff is chronic illness and cancer support. Working to support so many people affected each year, whether themselves or someone they love, we wanted to do something positive in an effort to raise money to support the vital research done by Cancer Research UK. The team at SAS will be taking part in a 'cycle round the world challenge', taking part all through the month of September, racking up the miles towards our 24,000 mile target. According to Cancer Research UK website statistics - there are on average 363,484 new cases of cancer every year. 38% of cancer cases are preventable.
