Story

Holly walked her first Race for Life back in 2013. Lottie was in utero! Back then we took part in memory of my dad, Tony Eden. Sadly this time we will also take part in memory of my uncle, Ian Mobley. Thankfully, my parents in law John and Gill are cancer survivors; money raised by events like this will most certainly have contributed to their successful treatment. Holly has completed the Couch 2 5K as part of her Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, so this will be her first official 5k event as a runner. Lottie will also be participating by completing the 5k Muddy Obstacle Course on the Saturday. When we first started running 11 years ago 1 in 3 people were predicted to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This is now 1 in 2.
