Myself & my lovely ladies are working together by physically challenging and pushing ourselves in order to raise money for cancer research! According to cancer research there is a new case of cancer diagnosed every two minutes! It is predicted that by 2020 this rate will increase by 60% world wide meaning approx 1 in 2 people will be effected by this horrible disease. Right now the survival rate is only roughly around the 50% mark.. I don't know about you, but I do not like the sound of those statistics! We need to pull together & do everything we can.. nobody wants to see any more loved ones experience this horrible disease! In 2015 a team of us got recognised for being one of the highest fundraisers for race for life and we were lucky to have our story heard. Our team are doing this for Laura's partners (Adam) Nanny Brenda who is still fighting strong aswell as Adams Grandad who sadly lost his fight but will always be in people's hearts. We're doing this for Becki's husbands (Craig) dad Rob, aunties Karen and julie & uncle bill who have unfortunately had to all battle against cancer. It goes without mentioning we're also doing this in loving memory of Hazel Foley who was strong enough to beat cancer once but sadly not twice. A truely inspirational woman.
