We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

In September 2020 my beautiful partner Rachael was diagnosed with breast cancer. We were all devastated, and the news hit even harder as we had only lost Rachael's wonderful Mum, Jennie, 8 months prior, after battling pancreatic cancer for 2 years herself. We remained positive and after surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone treatment, Rachael was given the all clear in 2021! Unfortunately, in October 2023, after a bout of stomach pain, we found out the breast cancer had returned and metastasized to her liver. It has since spread to her spine and hips. The cancer is treatable, but not curable at this stage. We are living each day, week, month as it comes and making lots of precious memories along the way! Myself and our boys, Finley, Harvey and Archie, are doing the Pretty Muddy 5k to raise as much money as we can, as without Cancer Research and the work they do, Rachael would not have the treatment she needs to be here with us all.
