Run for Clare

We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

Our wonderful pal Clare was one of the best human beings that life can offer. She was funny, cheeky, kind, loving, hilarious, enthusiastic, clever, wise, beautiful and so big hearted and generous to everyone. She was an incredible lass from Yorkshire. She embraced everything, and her arrival in our wee Kinross-shire village, with her family, was a blessing for all of us. Her death from cancer in June 2024 was heart-breaking. We miss her. We really, truly miss her. She was amazing, and we carry her with us every day. Our team are some of Clare's friends from our wee village. We want to keep celebrating Clare and we want to run the Race for Life for her and for all the women we know and will know that have lived with, are living with, or will live with cancer. Some of us have run before, and some of us are putting our running shoes on for the first time ever. We're doing it together to have a brilliant time, to challenge ourselves and to raise money for cancer research. We would be thrilled if you could donate money to our Team, and to our Race.
