Ruby and I will be running the Oxford 5k Race for Life again this year. This will be Ruby's 3rd one (not bad for an 8 year old!) Every year we choose a different 'pink' themed costume to wear; 1st year) fairies. 2nd year) monsters. 3rd year) wait and see! We are running in memory of two of Ruby's grandparents. Grandma Ruby (Simon's mum) died December 1999 after losing the battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 63, and Grandpa Roy (my dad) died after losing his fight with a brain tumour in October 1992 at the age of 58.
