Unfortunately someone close to our hearts has recently been diagnosed with cancer among us all knowing others that have suffered or are still suffering from cancer. We are taking part in the Shrewsbury 5k race for life on the 23rd June 2019 to show our support and to raise money to try and beat the dreaded disease. We are a group of women that work together and will be doing the race for life along with the support of the residents we support and the other team members. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
