A few of us from Mrs Whittam's class have formed a little team and are attempting the Pretty Muddy 5k course in July. This is a 5k run with lots of obstacles and a whole lot of mud! This is all to raise money for the amazing charity Cancer Research UK. It's a sad fact that we probably have all been affected by this terrible disease one way or another. Many people we know in our classes who have lost loved ones or are being strong supporting those close to you through treatment. Therefore whilst we want to train, get fit and get muddy, one of the reasons why we wanted to do it is to support or run in memory of all those in our reception families and friends who have lost, or are living with the battle against cancer. Our team consists of Sarah (Max B's Mum), Liz (James C's Mum), Kathryn (Harry C's Mum), Lyn (Fraser's Mum) and me (Evie's Mum) and naturally our team is called #rjwmumswillrunforwine We would love to raise as much as we can for this very worthy cause and hope you can support us if you have a couple of quid spare.
