Story
A few years ago our friend Sarah found a lump on her breast which turned out to be cancer. She fought this bravely and it looked like it was all okay, but then a couple of years on a further lump was found in her lung. Sarah has continued her fight and has managed to survive through this as well. There have been ups and downs for Sarah through this horrible disease but she is one of the bravest people we know and continues to carry on despite all that has been thrown at her. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save more lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Sarah has had bits removed, lost a breast, gone through chemo and other treatments over the years but she is continuing the fight. Team Sarah will be supporting Sarah in her next challenge to walk the 5k race for life in Herne Bay and hopefully you can too. Thank you for reading Sarah’s story and if you feel you can support our team by giving a couple of pounds to this fantastic charity, it would be most appreciated. Team Sarah
