2020 has been a bizarre year for all but on top of the pandemic i’ve had to deal with Breast Cancer whilst being pregnant. However, I can proudly say after numerous - surgeries, chemotherapy, hospital appointments, injections and welcoming my beautiful wee boy, I have finally been given the all clear. I still have radiotherapy to undergo but I am feeling positive and excited about the future. 😃 Unfortunately i’m not the first and I won’t be the last to to go through cancer. 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with cancer everyday. I never thought I would get diagnosed with cancer but thanks to Cancer Research I am here today to tell my story. Now it’s time to give something back! Myself and some of my amazing support network are helping to raise money for Cancer Research by walking 10,000 steps every day in March. Note, I’m not looking for pity, I’m looking for donations 😊 so any donations, however big or small will be greatly appreciated. Don’t forget - together we’ll beat cancer ! Also, please check your breasts ! Anything out of the ordinary contact your GP and get it checked asap. The earlier cancer is caught the better... Cancer alone is hard enough to deal with but to go through it during a global pandemic is horrible. It can be very lonely aswell due to having to go to most of the treatments and appointments by yourself.
