We did it!!!!!! Thank you so much for your donation to the Pretty Little Mudders. We threw ourselves into the challenge on the day, getting up at 7am to get down to Tunbridge Wells. Several of the us had been at the O2 the previous night for a Shawn Mendes concert and were still running on adrenaline when we got to the start line. We were blessed with beautiful weather on the day, which was great for the spectators and helped dry our mud soaked clothes at the end of the run. We all made it round the challenging 5km muddy obstacle course intact and with huge smiles on our faces (we have posted some photos from the day on the fundraising pages). Our team consisted of Molly, Laura, Grace, Lila, Rose, Chloe, Lottie, Lauren and one brave Mum (big shout out to Sonya, Laura's Mum, for being the responsible adult and possibly the most muddy runner at the end!!!). We just wanted to say how grateful we are to everyone who worked so hard together to raise funds for Cancer Research, including my whole class (9W) who kicked off the fundraising by raising over £200 from a cake sale at school at Easter. This funding helps Cancer Research take a step closer to creating better outcomes for cancer sufferers. Without your support the progress in cancer research would not be possible. Thank you so much.
