I didn't know any one when I move to Sussex . When I attended a local baby signing group with my daughter Saoirse we got chatting to petite fair lady. Sarah was friendly and kind and we agreed to meet up and the following week as new mothers do. As time went on on our girls became mates and we shared the journey of motherhood together. There was the occasional missed meet up, because of doctor appointments and then hospital visits. Then it all got a bit serious. Sarah was diagnosed with Melanoma and it was a true race for life. Through out her daughters life she took every treatment & trial to survive & she fought to be there for her daughter and husband. She was the most inspirational woman I have had the pleasure to walk with. Sarah had great faith in God and that gave her hope & eventually peace. She died aged just 33 years old in 2009. Her daughter aged 6. Her husband died two weeks ago with Cancer Aged 42 Our daughters are now 15 year old. This is Saoirse's 10th Race for Life & Finns 2nd Pretty muddy. . We've raised hundreds of pounds and we will continue to raised funds for Cancer Research. Everyone will be touched by Cancer.
