We all know someone who has gone through cancer, but the last couple of years have been especially significant for Michelle who was diagnosed with throat cancer in October 2019 after an intense course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, then a further neck dissection she is on the mend however she lost her mum Anne 2 years ago to multiple myeloma and only in January after a very quick illness, her partner Joe to pancreatic cancer, which is why we are all taking part in a Race for Life this year to raise money and save lives! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
