Story
As many of you know Paul was diagnosed at the beginning of 2017 with cancer of the throat. A few treatment statistics 2000 miles travelled 35 radiotherapy treatments 7 weeks of appointments 2 rounds of chemotherapy 1 clinical trial ....... and treatment is over From diagnosis and throughout treatment the role of the NHS, Cancer Research, McMillan Nurses and the Beatson have been outstanding Its been a long journey and one that for Paul continues with his recovery. As we can't yet celebrate the end of treatment with 'wining and dining' as swallowing and talking are still challenging, as a family we are taking part in the 5K Family Race for life.
