Story
Did you know that 1 in 2 people born in the UK after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime, this needs to change. Sarah's Message - I'm taking part in the muddy run for both my mum and my aunty Barbara who have both been the bravest and strongest women I know. Barbara was diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2016 but kicked its ass by 2017 go Barbara! My mum is still battling her non hodgkin lymphoma with her chemotherapy treatment but she is doing amazing, I couldn't be prouder of the both of them and I'm so lucky and blessed to have them in my life. ๐ Abbie's Message - I have been touched through my life by the word Cancer, but none more so then recently. We lost my Nan just before Christmas and my second Mum, Joan Woods in March 2019. My auntie Jane is also going through her own personal battle with cancer as we speak (and is kicking itโs ass ๐๐ผโโ) I will be running for all these ladies in my life, come on girls letโs raise money, have fun and leave the kids with the lads for the afternoon ๐๐whatever your reason please come and join us or help us by donating for this amazing charity.
