I have personally watched how Cancer can destroy a loved one. My father Michael Lee, underwent chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, as an ex soldier he remained brave although I could see what it was doing to him 😔 My Uncle was unfortunately too late for treatment, a man that was a character full of life, destroyed by this viscous disease and the lovely Christine McGovern who stood tall and fought to the very end, all with dignity. My Dad and I were to do Race for life together, and I know he will be by my side in memory and in spirit. We are doing Race for Life to support Cancer Research and for all those who have lost their fight, all those still fighting and for all those who have survived I think you are all amazing x
