Story
So I’ve finally done it and applied for Race for Life this year... along with my friends Keeley and Charlotte who no doubt will be helping me along the finish line! (They are very much the fitter among the three of us). Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Cancer is happening right now. Unfortunately as I’m sure many people can relate to, cancer has affected several members of my family- in fact 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. But the Race for Life is all about positivity, spreading awareness and raising money for the amazing charity that is Cancer Research. It is something I have really wanted to be a part of. If anyone is in a position to do so and would consider donating, myself, Charlotte and Keeley would be very appreciative (every little bit helps). Let’s beat this disease, one step, skip, hop and jump at a time.
