In September we will be taking part in the Shine Marathon and walking 26.2 miles through the night to raise money for cancer research. All of us have had personal experiences with cancer and have loved and lost many people that are important to us. One cause in particular that is close to our hearts is childhood cancer. There are around 1900 new cancer cases in children in the U.K. every year ! That’s around 5 every day! Research has transformed survival for children and young people with cancer . Sadly, we are still losing far too many and in a lot of cases survivors experience long term side effects as a result of their treatment . Please help us raise as much money as possible to fund the research so that every child survives cancer and does so with a good quality of life .
