Story
It seems odd to say it, but cancer is our business. The histopathology team at Peterborough City Hospital face off with cancer every hour of every day of every week. We cut it, we stain it and we examine its every molecule, at the bench, under the microscope and in the PCR machine. That doesn’t mean that we’re immune to its effect though. It’s hit relatives like Elizabeth’s grandparents, loved ones like Carolyn, Jo and Pauline, and friends and colleagues like Pam and Marissa, to name but a few. We spend our lives managing and fighting these terrible diseases and decided we would go that little step further by raising funds for Cancer Research dragging ourselves through the mud at the Uventure run on June 29th. Dig into your pockets and cough up for Cancer Research!
