On May 28th May 2022 a group of Mums (aka The Muddy Chicks) will make their way to Windsor and endeavour to tackle a 5k (extremely muddy) obstacle course set up by Race for Life. We plan to climb, crawl, slide, laugh our way round to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This is very much something close to all our hearts and we are all too aware, the fight against cancer still goes on. There is no one we know who can say they don’t have a friend or relative who has been affected by this terrible disease which is why we want to raise as much money as we possibly can by attempting the Race for Life’s ‘Pretty Muddy.’ We all have a reason to Race for Life and this is ours… Last year, our very dear friend’s Mum received the heart-breaking news that she had breast cancer. We all watched on supporting Emma as her mum went through surgery and chemotherapy they were both amazingly strong through the whole process but it made us all realise how real this is and how important it is have support in place. All Race For Life sponsorship goes towards Cancer Research UK’s lifesaving work, funding laboratories, tests and treatments of all 200 types of cancer. So whether it's £1 or £20, any donation is hugely appreciated and we are sure you’ll agree it's for a brilliant cause that many, if not all of us can relate to.
