Story
At the start of the year I was unfortunately diagnosed with having breast cancer. This came as such a shock especially just 3 months after getting married. Myself and Steven were just starting the next chapter of our lives and looking forward to our future together. Those that know me know I'm pretty healthy and fit so was pretty blown away from the news. I am lucky I have caught it early and now just waiting for results to decide on my treatment plan. It has opened a whole new world to me that I knew nothing about. It's amazing how far treatment has come on and I will forever be grateful for this. I know this is going to make me a stronger person on the other side and will never take my health for granted. Myself, my husband, my family and all our friends are going to run the race for life to raise money to keep the research and treatments moving forward and even raise awareness for this horrible disease.
